Multi-Chip LED

Neumüller Elektronik, specialist for optoelectronic components, presents a new multi-chip LED in its portfolio. The multi-chip LED contains three visible LED chips and two infrared LED chips for future-oriented sensor technology. The five emitters are located in a small SMD package (2.8mm x 3.5mm) and feature the following different wavelengths - blue with 462nm, green with 516nm, red with 630nm as well as IR with 850nm and 940nm. They are best suited for applications in body and vital analysis or for the examination of blood and gases. In addition to applications in intensive care medicine, the multi-chip light emitting diode is also well suited for portable applications where only low power or current is available due to the high performance LED chips.
