Automotive
Pre-assembled cables are processed into complex wire harnesses on state-of-the-art assembly lines – with precision, reproducibility and in high volumes to meet the demands of the automotive industry.
Single Conductors
Cable assembly with single conductors – precisely tailored to your requirements. Applications include mechanical and plant engineering, industrial automation, automotive and control cabinet construction. With 12 KOMAX fully automatic machines, we process conductors from 0.05 mm² to 25 mm² (cutting) and up to 16 mm² (crimping) in high volumes – including crimping/tinning, double crimping, terminal insertion (flat receptacles) and further combination processes. The line is complemented by five semi-automatic machines for multi-core cables, twin leads and ribbon cables, as well as ten soldering/tinning stations.
FFC Cables
Assembled FFC cables with SMD-compatible connectors – precisely manufactured for your application. Available pitches: 0.5 mm, 0.8 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.25 mm and 2.54 mm. The PET insulation material ensures low weight, minimal profile height and high flexibility. Numerous variants can be realized: gold-plated contacts, folded, shielded (with/without shield bonding), die-cuts and more. Parameters such as transmission frequency, current carrying capacity, shielding, bending radii and temperature resistance are individually customized upon request.
Ribbon Cables
Ribbon cables and jumpers primarily for the automotive industry – typically used in air conditioning systems and vehicle doors. All common pitches are assembled to the required length and then terminated with PCB connectors (e.g. Micro-Match or header connectors).
HDMI Cables
Custom and standardized HDMI cable assemblies in various configurations. Available as round or flat cables, straight or with 90° angled exits, in the color of your choice – for professional AV and industrial applications.
Hotmelt
With the hotmelt process, we go beyond conventional cable assembly: Electrical and electronic components are sealed by spraying a potting compound – providing protection against unauthorized access, strain relief and sealing. The process enables flexible grommet positioning directly on the cable, eliminates separate potting housings and saves energy by removing thermal curing processes – measurably reducing overall costs.
Wire Harnesses
Sophisticated wire harnesses with or without overmolding – for automotive, commercial vehicles and industrial electronics, manufactured to your specifications. We support you from consultation through to series production and offer a wide material selection for outer jackets as well as protective and shielding braids with heat-resistant, water- and chemical-resistant sheathing for custom designs. The production site is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949 and UL.
Power Cords
VDE-certified power supply cables for industrial and medical applications – with approvals from renowned domestic and international testing bodies. The range includes all common plug types (EU, Schuko IP44, Contour IP44, UK, CH, IT, AU, ZA, CN, JP, NA, Hospital-Grade) as well as appliance couplers C5/C7/C13/C14/C17/C19, extension cables, cables with switches, kink protection grommets and cable by the meter.
