CE marking is mandatory for all products that are subject to mandatory marking and are marketed in the EU. With the CE mark, manufacturers document on their own responsibility that their products comply with the essential requirements of certain directives and protection goals of the European Union. Contrary to many assumptions, the CE mark is not a safety test mark like the ENEC or GS mark. Back
