Ultra-High Power 1/4 Brick Module for IBA

The new Ultra-High Power 1/4 Brick module from Glary delivers a maximum output power of 680W at an efficiency of 96%. Glary's patented Buck-Reset and Sink-Plate topologies provide an optimal thermal structure for high performance under extreme environmental conditions. The maximum operating temperature for TC is -40°C to +110°C. For unregulated IBA applications, the BQX096 model is available with an output voltage of 8 to 12 volts at 60 amps and a peak output power of 680 watts, equivalent to a power density of 370 watts/in3. With an input voltage range of 40 to 60 volts, an efficiency of up to 96% is achieved. The regulated version, such as the BQW065 model, delivers 6.5 volts at 60 amps with an accuracy of ±1% and an input voltage range of 36 to 75 volts. The BQ series offers up to 50% space savings or 50% more power compared to competitor models. Highest reliability even under difficult conditions with the highest power density worldwide in the ¼ brick format. System developers are thus offered the opportunity to achieve power increases and better performance by simply upgrading with the BQ series. The DC/DC-converters der BQ-series are the optimal solution for all high performance applications. Further features are 1.5 kVDC isolation voltage between primary and secondary side, safety standards according to EN60950 and CSA/UL60950 and protection features like OVP, OTP, OCP, UVLO(input), sense, remote on/off and a trim function (from 90% to 110%) of the output voltage.
