Configurable power supplies up to 3000W with variable output voltage

The MEG series from DELTA Electronics stands for a configurable power supply with 4 housing sizes in the power range 700/1200/2100/3000W for medical and industrial applications and is available from Neumüller Elektronik GmbH.

The special feature is the variable output voltage from 2VDC to 60VDC and a maximum output current of up to 45A. The single or dual outputs can be combined with the single or triple slot output module, according to individual requirement profiles. The respective output voltages can also be trimmed by +/-10%! No more searching for a power supply where everything fits. The configurable outputs of the MEG series create new design freedom and decimate restrictions. In addition, the MEG Series offers universal input voltage from 90VAC to 264VAC, efficiency up to 93%, and a wide operating temperature range from -20°C to +70°C - up to +50°C at full power. With an MTBF of more than 500,000 hrs, the MEG series ensures quality and reliability.

Other features include the use of a PC GUI for easy parameter setting and monitoring, and intelligent fan speed control. Communication adapters are also available to convert from PMBus (Vers. 1.3) to USB, RS232 or RS485, depending on system requirements. There is also the possibility to choose between a constant current or constant voltage version. For the AC connection, a European and a USA screw terminal are optionally available in addition to the C14 cold appliance socket.

The MEG series is ideally suited for medical and industrial applications. It impresses with its approvals according to UL/IEC60601-1 (medical), UL/IEC61368-1 (ITE/AUD) and 2xMOPP for patient protection in medical applications. Of course, the devices are certified according to EMC standards for industrial, scientific as well as medical high frequency equipment.
