AS25F series from Alliance Memory extended with 2 new 128MB NOR Flash Memories

Alliance Memory has expanded its AS25F series of serial NOR flash memory products with two new 128MB 1.8V devices. The AS25F1128MQ-70SIN and AS25F1128MQ-70WIN support single, dual and quad SPI modes and include a QPI function. They offer fast read performance of up to 133 MHz and fast programming and erase times of 0.3 ms and 60 ms, respectively, in the typical case. The devices are available in 8-pin SOP wide-body packages (208 mils) and 8L WSON packages (6x5 mm) and have low power consumption. They operate from a single 1.65-V to 1.95-V power supply and have a current consumption of only 5 mA during active read. In deep power-down mode, current requirements are typically less than 3 µA.

The devices are designed for use in temperatures from -40°C to +85°C and feature long-lasting performance with 100,000 programming/erase cycles. They also feature uniform 4-KB or 32-KB or 64-KB erase, 8/16/32/64-byte wrap-around burst read mode, program/erase suspend and resume, and advanced security features that protect content from unwanted access and accidental programming and erasure. The devices are suitable for chipsets for PCs, servers, laptops, optical drives, DVD and Blu-ray players, WLANs and cable modems, printers, set-top boxes, LCD displays, mobile and portable devices, digital cameras and more.
