Affordable power for industrial applications

Delta Electronics has developed the new PMR/PMS AC/DC converter with a continuous wide input range in order to offer a better cost/performance ratio for power requirements from 750W power supply units upwards. These are designed for industrial applications in accordance with EN/IEC/UL 62368-1 and corresponding CCC standards. They will now go into series production from Q4 /2024.

All types are only 40mm high and have automatically controlled, load-dependent fan speeds. A 5V stand-by output is always ON as soon as the mains voltage is applied. Capacitive loads up to 6000 uF are handled without any problems. The operating temperature range extends from -20°C to +70°C, whereby full power can be demanded up to +50°C. Small form factors and a conformal coating make the converters suitable for confined, harsh environments.

The 1.5KW PMR models with 24V or 48V output are the simplest and can optionally be ordered with remote ON/OFF and constant current sharing to increase system performance by connecting multiple devices in parallel.

The PMS (SMART) models in 750W/1.2KW and 2.5KW with optional 24/48V output have a PMBUS connection and therefore also allow monitoring. With optional: USB/RS232/RS485 adapters, other interfaces can also be accessed here.
