Designed mainly for use in electrically powered vehicles equipped with battery voltages between 24V and 110V, the SVi91501 can now be used for applications with a power requirement of up to 1500W. The input ranges of 18-72, 30-60, 16-110, 50-100 and 70-140 VDC are available. Input voltages up to 900V are also available on request, while output voltages of 12V, 13.8V, 24V and 26.7V are available. Despite its 1.5 kW continuous power, the SVi91501 is very handy and can easily be screwed to a suitable cooling surface using the mounting flange. This is also absolutely necessary in order to be able to take full advantage of the output power. An operating temperature range from -40°C to +110°C, IP68 protection with metal housing and full potting guarantee the operation of your vehicle even under the most extreme environmental conditions. Contacting is done via a commercially available Mate N´Lok connector, which is suitable for high currents and ensures a secure connection even in the event of strong vibrations during driving. To conserve the vehicle battery, an ON/OFF input, which is operated via the key switch, has also been integrated here. In addition to inrush current limitation, the converter has an input filter, temperature limitation, overcurrent switch-off and an overvoltage protection circuit. With the SVi91501, all possible loads on the vehicle can be supplied, even the operation of halogen headlamps, which cause high pulse currents when switched on, is possible. However, it is important to provide an external input fuse to protect the wiring harness. Special solutions tailored exactly to your application can be implemented quickly and cost-effectively, even for small quantities. |
